Here is the ad on ebay that's soon over in about 3 days its Aug 1 2010 now.

Read up on my opinions of the chances for increasing inflation or at least when I get time to post it, to eventually happen and note that this may be the only type of rent to buy that will become common or even available. Who else would do a rent to buy if they start to know the money is losing value fast.

 

Last I looked there was 2 watchers on ebay but for some reason I got about 5 emails from kijiji a local free advertiser on the land a bit like greags lists.About 3 days left now on the ebay ad.

This is one great place if you like both spooky and private, could be great for some home made movies, but with 18 acres you can build a nicer house out front as you can see lots of room in front to do so.
I really wanted to keep this but need the money to invest and I just cannot take care of this as its too far from where I live now. Final straw is when someone stole the circuit breaker box off my wall so now its harder to get the power back on. They stole my old cars and even cut down my maple tree. Left the apple tree and my stove last I checked and not enough wire for them to steal and I use that freeze resistant plastic pipe rather than copper and never thought it was more thief resistant too.but I removed my water pump for now and brought it home here.But good in that it has 2 wells and 2 septic tanks and I expect these were probably both new and the older ones.I got this whole thing on trade for another piece of land and house, as the other was even harder to get to on Deer island and it had less land.
This house is not far from the US border of Calais main near St Stephen NB Canada so that might be good for any of you US people.I tried to re list in fewer US dollars but could not go back, just in case some US buyer would have preferred it as I certainly would not want to lose a 15% chance of selling just for that detail.

House is a mess and the only part livable is the trailer but it could be fixed up but like I say  its just too far away from me.this could be great for any of you survivalists as an old farm away from most people could be a great investment without spending too much on a house as those are very poor investments now and this house is just good enough to give you power and water so you can improve later without spending to much now.
Yes the road out front is paved and not a dirt road in fact it appears to be part of a highway but not to much traffic.
I tease my friends that its a great place for home made chainsaw massacre type movies or you can go all redneck and hunt coons and raise pigs, put up an illegal moon shine still etc or whatever you can imagine.I wont even mention my other suggestions here but it gets a laugh.Of course I know the land is worth more than the house but so what its there, so you can use it like a camp or barn for a horse and plug in your lights and power tools.Or actually fix it up and make it decent.
Its about 1/3 trees and the middle where it was farmed is grown up into alders now.
One photo is from the deed showing the shape of the land.Notice it has 2 pieces as a separate extra 1 acre lot is part of the total 18 so its easier to sell that if you like.

If you want to do a rent to buy you can see below but the requests are a bit odd and I had this advertised before and got a better price offered but it was a rent to buy using US cash and I was very afraid of the US currency rapidly collapsing as the crisis was new.Still afraid of it just giving it more time now but I do not feel like a theft saying farm land can still be a very good idea to buy but I tell everyone to stay away from high priced houses now as good investments they may no loner be, at least not now.If you need a place to live and like the idea of being able to farm in a place with not to many people and you now have money for a better house, I would recommend you take the money you save and or better yet buy gold and silver or the mining stocks and then buy the better house later on at much better prices.
I sold one of my houses and put the whole thing in silver so I do take my own advice and got some solar cells too amongst other preparations but I already live here and do not really need the other house lot anywise.

Ok now here is the odd rent to buy requests.I will sell as a rent to buy for as low as 5 grams of gold per month regardless of its price and it can be as scrap jewelry too but it must equal that in pure gold.I would do this in silver too and really would prefer a balance of both.And yes you can pay in cash and I can buy the gold or silver as long as it gets me the same weight of actual gold or silver.
At the present prices 5 grams is only about 200 per month at this time and that's interest free too.But if you fail to pay after a few months I want the farm back.
I figure it this way I want to buy the gold and silver anywise and cash is ok now because I know what I can buy with it and its what I want to spend it on anywise but a rent to buy involves so much time that if hyperinflation actually starts, that 200 a month might turn into a loaf of bread per month or a movie rental and I will also miss the chance to  make any gains in gold and silver that I wanted.
Yes I am very odd and have a web site on gold and silver recycling as well as some neat science theories etc.

Also the price is negotiable if I do not get any bids so do not be shy about emailing me.
Really want to sell before they destroy it on me and I can sleep better again.
